On our site there is a small pond about five meters wide and a length of about twenty. Clean water – a pond fed from a spring. The bottom of the pond we poured, the walls were covered with stone. But bathing is inconvenient – shallow.

Kalamat – fish-snake
Kalamat Calabar (Calamoichthys calabaricus), or the fish-snake . – being remarkable. This fish originally from Africa (Nigeria, Cameroon) belongs to the family mnogomernyh and is one of the oldest extant fish species.
The body of Kalamita indeed reminds a serpent – strongly elongated and covered with rhomboid scales. Flattened triangular head with a large mouth equipped with teeth, completes the resemblance. Closer to the tail are from 5 to 18 dorsal spines. Pelvic fins are absent or shifted in the posterior half of the body, thus reinforcing “sleevenote” appearance of the fish body Color – from almost yellow to greenish-olive.
